Influência dos pulsos biaurais nos níveis de tensão induzidos pela realidade virtual, medidos por eletroencefalograma e eletrocardiograma

A presente investigação teve como objetivo determinar se os pulsos alfa binaural reduzem os níveis de estresse subseqüentemente induzidos por uma situação de realidade virtual, fazendo uma comparação com um grupo de controle em uma amostra de estudantes universitários. A amostra era não-probabilística e tinha um total de 32 participantes entre 18 e 28 anos de idade, que eram estudantes universitários da cidade de La Paz, Bolívia. Eles foram divididos aleatoriamente em dois grupos com um total de 16 alunos em cada grupo. O grupo experimental ouviu os pulsos binaurais, enquanto o grupo de controle ouviu o som de controle, obtendo como dados o eletrocardiograma e os sinais de eletroencefalograma, além das respostas do Manequim de Auto-Avaliação (SAM) para conhecer suas percepções emocionais com respeito aos estímulos. Dois modelos de classificação relacionados ao estresse também foram desenvolvidos com o Machine Learning. Os resultados não mostraram diferenças significativas entre os dois grupos
