A reflection on narrative therapy in context of training and application

Abstract

The future of psychotherapy has shown important advances in its work. Referential theoretical frameworks require a new global understanding of the human therapist, sharing data, categories and action strategies with other disciplines. In this sense, the therapy being a space for dialogue between two people, the skills or abilities that allow humanizing the therapeutic process continue to be highly valued by psychotherapy users. A method is proposed here that allows those who begin in clinical work to acquire those skills that facilitate their work.
