The substance use disorder is today a public health problem of great importance due to its incidence, resistance to treatment and to occur at increasingly younger ages. Casa Faro, is a Diagnostic and Referral center that, for more than two and a half years, aims to address patients with the problem of substance use, the most representative today because it is highly toxic and addictive: Paco. The present work tries to describe the device and the strategies of approach during the hospitalization, to later give continuity and finalization to the treatment in therapeutic community. The majority of residents enter the situation of street, marginality and abandonment and it is very important to be able to count on healthy containment networks, whether familiar or with which the child and / or adolescent has formed in their request for help , considering the new mental health law (Law 26,657), which protects residents. Finally, statistics with this problem are discussed in the Autonomous City of Buenos Aires for clinical practice and future research.
