Abstract

This case study shows the efficacy of Solution-Centered Therapy in the treatment of pathological grief, with the search for exceptions, compliments and the question of the miracle, the use of techniques for the treatment of grief. The work of the primary caregiver and the generation of a feeling of guilt and responsibility to care for the whole family. By analyzing both theory and practice, it can be deduced that both complement each other, but these depend on each patient, on how he manages his own duel and on his personality. It is important to recognize the personality and needs of the patient, to know clearly why he is resorting to therapy, in this way the therapy is useful, because although the theory tells us what should be done in therapeutic practice, the times and The moments are different in each of the patients and must be respected to reach a good conclusion.
