Abstract

In the last years,  one  has  given  more  importance  to  the topic of the aging in the whole world, the persons who overcome 60 years have the unique opportunities to grow, to develop and to change. The persons of the third age possess recollections and a long history, here reserve the capacity and human desire to control the environment and the need to love and be dear. The way in which they fulfill their evolutionary needs depends to a great extent on how they have fulfilled the stages of their life. The major adult in the society in whom we live has been and discriminated.  This  discrimination  assumes  to  our  optics of western culture in which the social  valuation  is  based  on the physical capacity, on the competition and the productivity. With the present investigation  there wants  to      be provided one of the necessary tools, which is the mental exercise in the third age, for the prevention of the loss of memory in major adults and especially to offer support to this population so discriminated and needed from our society
