Abstract

From the perspective of Lacan's psychoanalysis and teaching, segregation is a phenomenon of discourse and is intended as an effect of the rearrangement and power of science, which together with the universalization of capitalist discourse introduces one of the crucial problems of civilization , the racism; as Lacan points out on Television “the precariousness of our enjoyment when the Other does not place it”. Miller in his course of Extimity refers to the hatred of the enjoyment of the Other and it is from this statement that the basis of racism can be located. Before this reality, the push to explain these phenomena from the perspective of human rights or laws "We are all equal before the law"; that is to say, they are all equal and different from us, it only deepens the presence of racism and the violence that this entails. The proposal of the text: is to address some references in the work of Freud and Lacan on hate, racism, in therefore, segregative phenomena that work as a treatment of the death drive.
