Abstract

The present investigation was carried out with the purpose of describing the loving relationships of the descendants of Japanese migrants in the city of La Paz. Based on the identification of the concept of love, and through information obtained through semi-structured interviews, studied under the thematic, phenomenological and descriptive analysis, the research addressed the difficulties and facilities that they experienced at the time of starting their love relationship, and also the kind of love stories to which couples belong. The research was based on Sternberg's theories: the Triangular Theory of Love and the Theory of Love Stories. Within the results, beyond the objectives achieved, it was possible to identify the existence of the "Amae" concept within relationships Loving couples and the identity of the participants, both descendants and Bolivians. It was concluded that the factors taken into account, which make up the love relationship, are linked to each other. In other words, the identity and the referent of love have a specific impact on conflict, expressions of love and values. Each factor is articulated with the others, relating to each other, the type of love story and the referent of love of the participants, the values ​​and the referent with the expectations of the couple as well as the expressions of love.
