Abstract

The purpose of this research is the study of bullying or also called peer bullying. This type of harassment has been seen for many years as something normal, something that every child must live in order to become strong, but today it is being seen that these facts, the only thing they cause is fear, anguish, and insecurities in children that in the medium and long term harm them in all their dimensions. In this investigation, a Social Skills Intervention Program was made to reduce the degree of bullying in schools. This program was carried out for a private school in the southern area of La Paz, specifically for children between 11 and 12 years old, this population was chosen because it is at this age where the sense of belonging to social groups is most important that are formed in the courses, so belonging or not, can make the child's life in school satisfactory or not. Social skills were taken into account as they help people to have the necessary tools to successfully integrate into a social world.
