The present work is a deepening of the research carried out by Larrea (2017), focused on establishing the relationships between the Organizational Commitment and the Perceived Organizational Support on data from 142 employees of a professional services company in the city of La Paz. The purpose of this article is to examine specifically the relationship between the Perception of Organizational Support - AOP (Eisenberger and Stinglhamber, 2011) and the Organizational Commitment - CO in its Normative component deepened by Meyer and Parfyonova (2010). Blau's (2008) proposal on exchange and reciprocity provides the appropriate framework to explore these relationships. The results were analyzed, making clear the responses to the most relevant reagents of both scales, so that those responsible for the organizations' human resources practices identify the arguments that make the construction of the commitment and the perception of support of the organization, involving direct supervisors. The statistical process confirms the presence of both variables, the contents that define them, the uni-dimensionality of the AOP and the representation of the three components in the CO. In addition, the relationship between the perception of organizational support and its derivation in commitment becomes evident, particularly in the Normative component of the commitment.
