Abstract

This research seeks to determine the correlation between the variables Perceived Organizational Support and Organizational Commitment in a private institution in Lima. A representative sample of 135 telemarketers from a company dedicated to a call center was used. The sample consisted of 56% of women and 44% of men, the average age of both sexes was 24 years, 73% were born in Lima, 26% in the province and 1% abroad. Likewise, in this research the Eisenberger Perceived Organizational Support scale (1986) and the Meyer and Allen Organizational Commitment scale (1991) were used. In this investigation it was concluded that indeed the perceived organizational support and organizational commitment have a positive relationship. The permanence of a collaborator in the company will depend on the positive perception of organizational support and compliance with the work. Likewise, if the person has a negative perception of organizational support, they are very likely to feel dissatisfied with their work and therefore leave their job.
