Abstract

The purpose of this paper is to analyze the principles that govern research in psychoanalysis, while identifying the differences in this context over those disciplines with which it could even have a certain dialogue relationship. The case study is taken as a reference as a methodological formulation for the approach to the investigation of subjective phenomena initiated by Freud and continued by other psychoanalysts. Following the psychoanalytic study on the parricide Pierre Riviere established by Michel Foucault, the problems that could result when embarking on an approach through the case are presented
