Abstract

The objective of this case analysis is to identify the effectiveness of interventions based on narrative therapy, in a case of childhood anxiety of an 11-year-old girl through a thorough analysis of the individual process. The analysis process is essential considering that anxiety is one of the most common psychopathologies in the population of both children and adolescents and adults, increasing the risk of other disorders such as depression and others. The therapeutic process was carried out with an 11-year-old girl who is referred to by the fictitious name of Ana who is part of two family systems of upper middle class. The girl mentioned comes to consult with her father with the demand to control the discomfort caused by the noise at the time of eating with her family; Discomfort understood by the family as a result of the Selective Sound Sensitivity Syndrome or Misophony and which makes up the dominant story which will be reconstructed from outsourcing strategies, the enormous imagination of the girl and the construction of a more favorable alternative story for your personal development
