Influência das redes sociais digitais na construção de identidade em adolescentes: uma revisão sistemática de escopo da psicologia social

A adolescência é uma das fases mais complexas na formação da identidade humana, e esse processo se desenrola atualmente em grande parte no âmbito das redes sociais digitais (RSDs). Seguindo o protocolo PRISMA-ScR, esta revisão sistemática abrangente examina e mapeia as evidências empíricas publicadas entre 2015 e 2024 sobre a influência das RSDs na formação da identidade de adolescentes, a partir de uma perspectiva da psicologia social. Após a aplicação de critérios de elegibilidade predefinidos, 42 estudos foram selecionados e analisados a partir das bases de dados Scopus, Web of Science, PsycINFO e Redalyc. Os resultados foram organizados em torno de três áreas temáticas centrais: (a) construção e gestão do eu digital, (b) pressão social e comparação interpessoal e (c) polarização da identidade e afiliação a grupos. As evidências mostram efeitos bidirecionais, modulados principalmente por gênero, cultura e tempo de uso da plataforma. Predominam associações negativas ligadas à instabilidade da identidade e à deterioração da autoestima; as implicações para intervenções psicossociais em contextos educacionais são discutidas, formulando recomendações para futuras pesquisas longitudinais.
